So, the last time you went shopping you ended up
spending all your money and were really regretting it. But saving money on
clothes is not that difficult.
Following these steps will help you conquer your
fear of being BROKE!!
STEPS
1. Make a list. [What you Need & What you DON'T need]
Planning always works and does wonders when you are shopping. Before
going to the mall just think and prepare a list about what you need. The list
should only contain what you NEED and what you DON'T need.
2. Avoid Credit Cards & Take ONLY Cash.
If you cannot control yourself while you are shopping and buy almost
everything that comes into your sight, then shop with cash just carry at least $100.00 in your pockets.
3. Look for good bargains.
It is better if you wait for the sales keep in mind don’t make excuses
as to why you MIGHT need it. Sales are good, but don't get too carried away. When you are
buying from a sale make sure the quality of the clothes is also nice and is
worth the price.
4. Be focused.
No matter how hard you try to save money on clothes you need to remember
why you are doing it. So, keep reminding yourself why you need to save money as
this helps in making your self control much more better.
5. Purchase only one thing from each store
Before you enter the store think ‘ONLY ONE
THING’. Remember only to buy what you need not what you need and what would
go well/ match it.
6. Buy what you require not what you want.
We love to shop and want a lot of clothes but most
of the times it is better to check your wardrobe. If winter is around the corner don't buy clothes for the summer
just because they are trendy, but buy clothes needed for winter.
Buy items that go with more than 2 or 3 of your clothes, which allows
you to change your look without buying different items for each of your dress.
8. Buying Accessories.
Buy some nice jewelry that goes with your
clothes. They make your clothes more attractive and you won't have to spend
much money on it. In saying this you need to buy jewelry that you can use
more than once. Don't buy what you already have!
9. When buying heels
The secret to buying shoes is to buy heels of
different colors and different designs. This way it may look like you
have a lot of shoes, if you were to buy the same color shoes but the
same designs people are going to notice.
10. Spend $100 a month & ALWAYS go with someone.
This way you are up to date with your fashion sense
rather than buying a bulk all at once and the fashion trend fades the next
week. Take someone with you while shopping who can help you with buying fewer
clothes.
HAPPY SAVING EVERYONE :)

Im a guy and naturally blogs that involve shopping scream "avoid me." However, being a young lad, i do have the odd tendency of clothes shopping, especially shopping for suits, and finding myself enjoying it. I found that i'm almost a mix of all the shopaholic subspecies - almost. I also found both the recycling and shopping on a budget sections to be extremely informative and useful for future reference.

This is a good page and your tips will come in handy someday. My only downfall with shopping nowadays is that there should be more op shops around than your normal shops like jay jays Hallenstein and cotton on and so on .

I usually avoid clothes shopping because I don't know much about latest fashion and I'm afraid I spend my money on the wrong things =/. But this page helps a lot! I can now be a little smarter with my money and still look good.
